SUPPORT FOR KERALA FLOOD RELIEF

In response to the devastating Kerala floods of 2018, Shantikumarji Firodia Memorial Foundation extended its support by providing essential relief materials, financial aid, and rehabilitation assistance to the affected communities. This initiative helped families regain stability and rebuild their lives during one of the worst natural disasters in the region.

RELIEF EFFORTS FOR KOLHAPUR FLOODS

During the Kolhapur floods of 2019, Shantikumarji Firodia Memorial Foundation actively contributed to the relief operations by sending essential supplies, food packets, and medical aid to the flood-affected areas. The foundation played a crucial role in ensuring timely assistance and supporting rehabilitation efforts for the affected families.

COVID-19 patients at Booth Hospital were kept in complete isolation, making access to proper food and nutrition crucial during their recovery. Through the “I Love Nagar Cares” initiative, 9,000 COVID-positive patients received breakfast, lunch, and dinner, totaling 1 lakh+ Sattvik meals. These meals were specially curated by holistic and lifestyle coach Mr. Luke Coutinho, ensuring that patients received the necessary nutrition to support their recovery.

FEEDING THE VOICELESS

The love for animals was overwhelmingly supported by ‘भूतदया परमो धम:’ an initiative by I Love Nagar. Our team was joined by many who showered their love for the stray animals, on the brink of starvation, by serving over 30,000 meals to stray dogs and otherstreet animals. This experience was truly heart-warming.

SUPPORTING OUR FRONTLINE HEROES

Braving the intense heat and risking their own lives, police officers worked tirelessly to fight against COVID-19. To express gratitude for their dedication and service, I Love Nagar successfully carried out an initiative to provide 1,000+ high-quality masks and 5,000+ nutritious meals to these committed officers, ensuring their well-being while they continued to protect the community.

COMFORT FOR THE AFFLICTED

With the soaring numbers of Corona virus cases amongst the citizens and Frontline workers of Ahilyanagar (Ahmednagar), the hospitals and healthcare providers faced a massive crisis with the accommodation of the patients. Considering this situation, we donated number of isolation beds to different hospitals and Police headquarters.

COVID CARE CENTRE FOR WOMEN

Shantikumarji Firodia Memorial Foundation and I L o ve Nagar , in collaboration with local authorities, established Guru Arjun COVID Care Centre, the first women-only COVID facility in Ahilyanagar (Ahmednagar). This centre pr ovided privacy, protection, and care to 1 ,000+ female patients during the pandemic.

COVID BED PORTAL

On the request of Hon. Rahul Dwivedi, then Collector of Ahilyanagar (Ahmednagar), I Love Nagar launched the COVID Bed Portal (www .covidbed.ilo venagar .com) to provide real-time updates on the availability of isolation beds, ICUs, and oxygen beds across hospitals and COVID care centers. With over 2,00,000 visits, the portal played a crucial role in helping patients access critical medical facilities efficiently during the pandemic.

SERVING THOSE WHO SERVED DURING THE PANDEMIC

During the COVID-19 crisis, Shantikumarji Firodia Memorial Foundation ensured daily satvik meals for individuals who were performing last rites and cremation services of COVID-19 victims – people who stayed on duty for weeks without returning home due to safety concerns. Additionally, the foundation provided regular, nutritious meals to on-duty police personnel managing essential services across Ahilyanagar. This effort continued for over three months, reflecting a deep sense of gratitude and support for those who stood strong for the community during its most difficult time.

MISSION VAYU – OXYGEN SUPPORT FOR AHILYANA GAR DURING COVID

During the critical phase of the COVID-19 pandemic, Shantikumarji Firodia Memorial Foundation and I L o ve Nagar extended support to Mission Vayu by pledging 25 oxygen concentrators for the Ahmednagar (Ahilyanagar) district. This initiative, in collaboration with Pune Platform for COVID Response (PPCR), helped strengthen the region ʼs healthcar e infrastructure when it was needed the most, ensuring access to life-saving oxygen therapy for patients across the district.

COVID Relief Support with Essential Food Kits

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Shantikumarji Firodia Memorial Foundation extended its support to MLA Sangram Jagtap’s relief efforts by providing 2,000 food packets filled with essential grocery items. These kits offered vital sustenance to affected families, ensuring they had the basic necessities during the lockdown and crisis period.

MISSION RAHAT

Rahat or as we say in English, “Relief” is an emotion that can only be felt. Mission Rahat was a joint association by Snehalay, Shantikumarji Firodia Foundation & I Love Nagar. Thepandemic caused mayhem and layoffs, which left lakhs of labourers and their families stranded. As these groups of labourers made their way back to their hometowns, the collaborative efforts of Mission Rahat managed to arrange provisions of food and stay for more than 3.5 lakh labourers, ensuring the families had enough aid to survive the long journey back home.

AHILYANAGARʼS FIRST CORONA METER INITIATIVE

During the COVID-19 pandemic, we were the first in Ahilyanagar (Ahmednagar) to introduce the Corona Meter, providing real-time district-wise updates on active cases. This initiative ensured that the people of Ahilyanagar (Ahmednagar) had accurate and timely information, helping them stay informed and take necessary precautions. By leveraging digital tools, this effort played a crucial role in raising awareness, promoting safety measures, and keeping the community vigilant during the crisis.

Covid19 Ahmednagar Platform

Ahmednagar First is a non-profit group that was formed by known entrepreneurs and business houses of Ahmednagar, with the sole purpose to support and ensure the availability of essentials that were needed to combat Covid-19. The group supportedwith PPE kits / n95 masks / oximeters/ Infra thermometers and more.Funds, around Rs. 1 Crore were raised to ensure the following purposes were dealt with appropriately:
