With o ver 350 one-act plays, eight centres hosting thousands of artists and technicians, a four-day theatrical spectacle, and a prestigious prize distribution ceremony, अिहयानगर महाकरंडक has firmly established itself as Maharashtr a ʼs largest one-act play competition. Since its inception in 2013 , the competition has gained immense recognition not only within Maharashtra but also beyond national borders. This success is a result of the dedicated artists, enthusiastic audiences, and the support of esteemed dignitaries who make this event truly special. Within a short span, ‘Ahilyanagar Mahakarandak’ has become synonymous with excellence in the theatrical world. Sustaining the quality of an event is as challenging as organising it, yet for the past twelve years, we have consistently raised the bar . Participants are pr ovided with breakfast, lunch, dinner , and accommodation, ensuring a seamless experience for those travelling from across the state. More than just a competition, ‘Ahilyanagar Mahakarandak’ is a launchpad for aspiring artists. Many former participants have made successful careers in films, television, and theatre, a testament to the platform ʼs impact. This competition has sparked a cultural mo vement in Maharashtra, nurturing talent and shaping the future of theatre.

Bhagwan Mahavir Vyakhyanmala

Bhagwan Mahavir V yakhyanmala, organized by Jain Federation, has been conducted annually from 2017 to 20 24 at Ananddham to commemorate the Punyatithi of Acharya Anand Rishi Ji Maharaj. Shantikumarji Firodia Memorial Foundation has supported this initiative, bringing together renowned scholars and spiritual leaders to deliver insightful discourses on Jain philosophy, ethics, and social transformation. These sessions continue to inspire attendees by reinforcing values of righteous living and spiritual growth. By supporting this tradition for several years, the foundation remains committed to preserving and spreading the teachings of Acharya Anand Rishi Ji Maharaj for future generations.

Yuvaan National Youth Integration & Cultural Camp

Yuvaan National Youth Integration & Cultural Camp in Ahilyanagar (Ahmednagar) brought together youth from 28 states and 100 districts to promote unity, leadership , and cultural e xchange. Supported by Shantikumarji Firodia Memorial Foundation, this seven-day residential camp featured interactive sessions, leadership training, military experiences, and cultural performances. The camp fostered national pride, discipline, and cross-cultural understanding, empowering young participants to contribute towards a stronger , united India.

BHARAT BHARTI

Shantikumarji Firodia Memorial Foundation played a key role in supporting the Bharat Mata Poojan event organized by Bharat Bharti Sanstha in Ahilyanagar (Ahmednagar). This cultural and patriotic event, themed “Ram Mandir to Ramrajya,” aimed to foster national pride and devotion and also featured a Food Festival. The program was graced by Shri Sunil Deodhar (Former National Secretary, BJP) as the chief speaker , with renowned actor Shri Girish Kulkarni as the guest of honor . Narendra Firodia presided o ver the event as the program chairperson. Through this contribution, the foundation continues its commitment to supporting cultural and spiritual initiatives that strengthen community values and national unity .

SHRI RAM MANDIR, AYODHYA

Shantikumarji Firodia Memorial Foundation contributed towards the construction of the Shri Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, supporting this historic and spiritual initiative. This contribution reflects the foundationʼs dedication to preserving cultural heritage and supporting religious landmarks that hold deep significance for millions of devotees.

ALL INDIA PORTRAIT PAINTING COMPETITION

One of the first competitions of its kind in India, the All India Portrait Painting Competition is organized by Shantikumarji Firodia Memorial Foundation in memory of renowned artist Shri Gopal Deuskar. Held in Ahilyanagar (Ahmednagar), this prestigious event has been successfully conducted for three consecutive years. Conceptualized by Narendra Firodia and sculptor Pramod Kamble, the competition provides a valuable platform for both professional artists and students from across the country. As part of this initiative, the foundation also honors senior artists with the Kalamaharshi R. B. Kelkar Award, which includes a cash prize of ₹1 lakh and a certificate, recognizing their exceptional contribution to the field of art. The event has been honored by the presence of Padma Shri Anna Hazare, whose association further elevates the prestige of the competition.

VARSA DIWALI ANK

The ‘Varasa Diwali Ank’ (वारसा िदवाळी अकं ) is a distinguished literary publication, brought to life by Shantikumarji Firodia Memorial Foundation & the Maharashtra Sahitya Parishad Savedi Sub-branch, Ahilyanagar. For the past 9 years, this special edition has upheld the tradition of literary excellence, making a significant contribution to the world of Marathi literature. What sets ‘Varasa’ Diwali Ank apart is its commitment to quality and authenticity. It features a rich collection of articles, essays, and creative works by renowned Marathi writers, offering a platform for emerging and talented rural writers. By providing space for both established and new voices, the publication ensures that the depth and diversity of Marathi literature continue to flourish. Unlike commercial publications, Varasa Diwali Ank is not marketed for profit but is created solely for the enrichment of the Marathi language and literature. Its literary quality has been recognised by prestigious institutions across Maharashtra, including the Maharashtra Sahitya Parishad branches in Mumbai and Pune, as well as literary councils in Phaltan, Solapur, and Nashik.The publication has also been honoured with state-level awards from esteemed organisations such as ‘Marathboli’ Pune, ‘Aksharbandh’ Nashik, and the ‘Mumbai Marathi Newspaper Writers Association’, marking its significance in the literary world. With its unwavering dedication, ‘Varasa’ Diwali Ank continues to be an inspiration for Marathi literary heritage, preserving and promoting the richness of the language for future generations.

SHRAMDAAN FOR WATER CONSERVATION

Shantikumarji Firodia Memorial Foundation, in collaboration with Pani Foundation and Bhartiya Jain Sanghatana, participated in the Shramdaan initiative at Manjarsumba, Ahilyanagar. This effort focused on vital water conservation projects, including reservoir construction and canal deepening, to enhance rural water security. By supporting such initiatives, the foundation continues its commitment to sustainability, environmental preservation, and community development
