Empowering the Underprivileged with Purpose and Passion
The upliftment of the underprivileged is a serious task undertaken by the Firodia Family. Being one of the leading business families of Ahilyanagar (Ahmednagar), Mr . Narendra Firodia and his wife have made it their mission to pr ovide aid in education, healthcare, sports, and cultural activities through their family trust. The Firodia family also contributes to impr oving healthcare infrastructure, education, and the rehabilitation of abandoned women and children.

Family Legacy
Late Shri Motilalji Firodia
1912-1992
As a freedom fighter and a pioneer of the Banking & Co-operative Movement, Shri Motilalji Firodia founded The Ahmednagar District Central Co-operative Bank, which has grown to become Asiaʼs largest Co-operative Bank. He served as a Member of Parliament, representing Ahmednagar during the tenure 1962-1967, but turned down the nomination for the next term to devote his time for social causes and betterment of Ahilyanagar(Ahmednagar)
Late Shri Kundanmaji Firodia
1885-1968
The Firodia family acquired a rich heritage that dates to the late Kundanmaji Firodia (1885-1968), the first lawyer of the Oswal community in Ahilyanagar (Ahmednagar) and a staunch Gandhian. Post-independence, he served as a speaker for the Bombay Assembly with the sole aim to uplift the society. A father to three sons – Navalmaji, Motilalji and Hastimaji Firodia, he planted the groundwork for progress and advancement of the city.

Smt. Asha Shantikumar Firodia is the epitome of compassion, and it is through her that we have truly understood its meaning. As the President of the Shantikumarji Firodia Memorial Foundation, she plays a pivotal role in its activities, guiding the trust with wisdom and dedication. Her active involvement with the Rotary Club in Ahilyanagar further exemplifies her commitment to serving the community. Born and raised in Ahilyanagar, she completed her education at Sacred Heart Convent High School. In 1972, she married Shri. Shantikumarji Firodia and stood steadfastly by his side, contributing to his social initiatives. Her journey is a testament to a life lived with purpose and love for the betterment of others
